About the group:
ATEEZ is an 8-member group under KQ Entertainment that debuted on October 24, 2018. They’re known for their stage presence and unique/irresistible energy. They are a very rounded group: everyone can dance extremely well (it doesn’t seem natural), the vocal line is superb (I believe that their main vocalist is the strongest in k-pop right now, competing even with Super Junior, Pentagon, NCT 127, and EXO main vocals), the rap line is legendary (amazing flow, diction, and style), and their performance abilities and expressions are unmatched. The members participate in the process of composing, writing, producing, and choreographing, as well. Our fandom name is ATINY, which means we are ATEEZ's destiny.

Their full and Japanese albums both contain 11 songs! They’re story-line oriented, so I recommend listening to them in order. FEVER Era is the prequel to the TREASURE Era, as well. 1. Kim Hongjoong - our leader and captain! Lead rapper and leader of the group. Second oldest. Literally everyone’s favorite for good reason. He’s also a producer and composer. He’s also a lyricist (he wrote and composed Sunrise, Horizon, and Aurora). He’s literally a multitalented king. He writes most of ATEEZ’s songs along with Mingi and KQ’s production team. He would give his life for his members and, I’d say, that he’s the most dedicated and hardworking in the group (and they’re all very hardworking). His leadership skills remind me of BTS’ Namjoon. You can watch videos of him composing on the spot, they’re art. He’s very loved by his members and is like the strict dad of the group. He’s a cutie, but his rap means business. His role model is G-Dragon. He can rap quite fast. He had an iconic mullet. Literally everyone’s crush. Shortest member (5’7” or 171 cm). How to recognize his voice? He is the flowy, high-pitched rapper in the group. He usually giggles before his verses or bars. One of his most notable lines is the beginning of Wonderland, which highlights his rapping style quite well: "All eyes on me now, if you still doubt mine..."; he also starts off his Illusion and Pirate King verses with his signature giggle.

2. Park Seonghwa - vocalist, visual, performer. Another amazing performer and dancer. The eldest in the group. His voice is also very soft and pleasing (it’s very smooth and calming). He’s literally so beautiful, wtf. He’s quiet and very caring. He’s always looking after the members as their hyung; he’s like the mom of the group. He looks striking, but he’s very gentle and graceful. He’s like a prince. He’s the member’s source of support and care. He’s done girl group dance covers and he’s honestly a king. Literally the most beautiful and caring person. He was supposed to be a rapper, but then he switched over to vocalist. He got into KQ by passing a rapping audition. He used to be in a dance team when he was in high school. How to recognize him? His voice has a nasally and warm quality while being on the lower spectrum in pitch; I believe him to be a deep tenor or high baritone, but he is still in training, so we will discover it when he explores his instrument more. His most notable lines are in Wonderland in which he is the first vocal to sing: "터질듯한, 심장을 pump it up"; also, his iconic "부숴버릴 듯이 we on fire" on the same track.
3. Jeong Yunho - Main dancer, lead vocalist. 6’1” (approximately; 184 cm). Dancing machine! His moves are so smooth and graceful; you wouldn’t think he is so tall. He has great control of his body and movements. Looks a little bit like the actor Lee Dong Wook. He is the sweetest bun ever. Is a sunshine. Is one of the mood makers of the group. He is always smiling. His voice is so good; he’s a soft vocalist. Second/third best vocalist in the group. Also he's the nation's boyfriend. How to recognize him? His baritone voice is very light, soft, and calming. I would call him the "honey vocal" in ATEEZ. One of his most notable lines are in Light, in which he sings the beginning part of the chorus: "너였구나 my shine light, 운명같이 온 true light, 밤하늘 속 서로를 보던 starlight."

4. Kang Yeosang - vocalist, visual. Was a BigHit trainee along with Wooyoung (they’ve been friends for a very long time; they both know and trained with TXT). Amazing dancer; he choreographed a part of Pirate King. His visuals are stunning asf. He has a birthmark on his left temple. His singing voice is deep because he’s a baritone, just like BTS’ Kim Taehyung, but barely gets lines. He loves singing, though, and I think his vocals are underrated. He’s very soft and quiet. Very introverted and shy. The cutest. Outstanding performer. He’s the truth teller in the group, as he often exposes the members. How to recognize him? He is the deep voice vocal in ATEEZ! He is a true baritone with outstanding control; his voice is like butter, smooth, soft, and consistent. His more notable lines are in Illusion where he starts off the song with "푸른빛 태양, 보라색 별,
꽃이 춤춰, 노래는 덤," and in With U, where he ends the song with "기억해 지금 이 시간 이런 감정들, 기억해 지금 이 공간 우리 다짐을, 기억해 이 발자국,기억해 이 떨림을, 기억해 기억해." He also carries most of the chorus in Horizon. His iconic line at the beginning of Inception is also worth noting: "I'm in love."
5. Choi San - lead vocalist, lead dancer, performer. Where do I start with San? He’s literally the BEST performer in ATEEZ (they’re all amazing and their energy is unmatched). His facial expressions just- get it. Watch his ending part in Hala Hala and you’ll understand. He also loves BTS; he danced Fake Love along with Wooyoung. His vocals are VERY damn good. Second/third best vocalist. He looks intimidating, but he’s literally the softest member. He has a collection of plushies and honestly, we are all soft for San. His performance ability is literally unmatched. Very unique and powerful; and, yet, the softest and cutest. He’s a very loving person. His name means mountain in Korean and he used to take Taekwondo (has a third degree black belt); I believe this contributes to his performance ability. How to recognize him? He is the breathy and whiny vocal in the group. His voice can be easily be recognized by his signature breathy whistle sound he sometimes emits; this can be heard in the beginning of Mist, as he starts the song: "Why, why am I afraid? 흐려진 안개 속." Also, his iconic beat change in Treasure: "한 걸음 더 더, 조금만 더 더, 닿을 듯해 no no no no."
6. Song Mingi - main rapper, main dancer. He’s the deep-voice rapper of the group. His rapping skills are no joke; his speed and emotion are insane. He has a very particular intonation. He often writes songs along with Hongjoong. He looks intimidating, but is a baby. Scared of everything and is super cute and soft. Second tallest member (6’0” or 183 cm). He’s an amazing dancer. Literally a confident king. His flow is outstanding. Also, a mood maker for the group. He’s the first member that caught my attention with his powerful rapping and center! How to recognize him? He is the deep voice rapper in the group and his signature phrase is fix on. His verse in Wonderland is one of his best ones: "Fix on. Ready now for next journey, 숨 참고 달려 내가 달려가는 get money..." Also, his most iconic verses are WAVE's pre-chorus "건배 건배, 이 순간 뜨거운 태양 아래에서" and chorus "HAKUNA MATATA YA."
7. Jung Wooyoung - vocals, visual, performance. He’s literally so energetic on stage, wtf. His visuals are strikingly beautiful and he is an outstanding dancer and performer. His vocals are very high pitched (his voice, too). He’s the second shortest member (5’7” or 172 cm). He is an ARMY and his favorite song is Spring Day. His role model is BTS’ Jimin. He is ATEEZ’s sexy performer and demonstrates it well with his revealing outfits and flirty expressions onstage! Offstage, however, he is just a loud baby. Him and San are best friends, but he is also great friends with Yeosang. He left Big Hit because he wanted to debut with Yeosang in a same group. How to recognize him? His voice is probably the most high pitched in the whole group, making him a very high tenor or, possibly a countertenor. His most iconic line is in Say My Name: "Yes, sir, 부름에 응답." He showcases his vocal improvement in Mist where he beautifully sings the beginning of the chorus: "So, please, 말해줘요 it's all right, 불안한 이 안개 속, 모든 게 한순간이라고."
8. Choi Jongho - main vocalist, maknae. His voice is literally one of the best voices in k-pop; it’s a very powerful and beautiful tenor tesitura. He’s very very talented. He’s also super strong and can break fruits with his bare hands. He loves exercise and sports. I seriously think he is one of the best vocals in the industry (ATEEZ is a very good vocal group). His role model is Jungkook. He has BTS covers. LISTEN TO THEM. He is very mature and dependable; hence, he is a power maknae. He may be quiet, but he has a unique energy that really balances the group. How to recognize him? Jongho possesses the most unique and notable color among ATEEZ's vocal line. His tenor voice is piercing, high, bright, and powerful; it's impossible to miss him. His vocal technique is also outstanding. He has parts in nearly every chorus in their discography. He is also the one in charge of the powerful high notes and chilling vocal runs in their songs. One of his most notable parts is HALA HALA's hook:
"Deep in my heart, Deep in my soul, 피어나는 flashing light, Deep down my heart, Deep down my soul." His lines in Mist's chorus are also stunning: "So, please, 이게 내 길이라면, 내 손을 꼭 잡아줘, 오래 헤매지 않도록." His "No one take you down" in Promise. And, of course, his hook in Wonderland: "Breaking the wall, oh oh."
